Access to the La Plume Estate

This region, agricultural and touristic but unspoiled, offers the possibility of many outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, mushroom picking, visits to typical villages of the south of France), and boasts a great biodiversity. The Park covers 45 municipalities, between 300 and 1800 m of altitude, covering diversified landscapes, due to the double climatic influence of the Mediterranean and the mountains: rocky areas and arid moors, valleys, gorges and caves, forest areas and cultivated or grazed plains.
The village of La Penne, located at an altitude of 850 meters, is accessible one hour from Nice and 11 km from Puget-Theniers. It is limited to the north-east by the rocky limestone bar of Roccaforte (1167 m) and to the north-west by the peak of Borrel (1186 m).Inhabited by about 250 inhabitants, the village is isolated in the heart of nature and has a full southern exposure.
